Which hardware do you recommend for OpenIO SDS?

How can I test the product?

OpenIO SDS is available as a Docker container for functional testing and development. It is also freely available for download and can be installed on Virtual Machines or on physical x86 and ARM servers. Documentation and how-to guides are available on our website, and OpenIO’s Slack channel will let you connect with other end users and OpenIO engineers. Do you provide a reference architecture?

How does OpenIO licensing work?

OpenIO SDS is distributed under LGPL/AGPL open source license. The source code is available on GitHub and the binaries are available for free download. OpenIO charges for yearly support subscription on per a usable capacity.

OpenIO provides professional services directly or through partners for infrastructure planning, installations, tuning, training, and integration with end user applications. For customers who require demanding SLAs, OpenIO has a specific subscription plan that includes capacity planning, monitoring, and continuous tuning by a dedicated OpenIO engineer, providing a turnkey solution.
